About Me

Beginning in the Fall of 2018, I will be Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Coe College.

My research is heavily focused on biomedical ethics, though I also work on issues in applied ethics, broadly construed. I also have teaching interests in the history of philosophy (ancient and early modern), philosophy of race, environmental ethics, philosophy of religion, and normative ethics.
